About Choko Authentics
Choko Authentics is a proudly Canadian, privately owned company based in rural Uxbridge, Ontario.
Since 1983, we’ve specialized in the design, creation, manufacturing, and distribution of premium-quality apparel and accessories. What sets us apart? Our deep connection to the markets we serve and our commitment to detail, durability, and bold, functional design.
Founded by Ed Hakonson, Choko began by crafting high-end snowmobile suits for a growing leisure market. That same forward-thinking spirit quickly extended into motorsports, earning us trusted licensing partnerships with GM, Kubota, New Holland and Case IH —relationships that continue to this day. We’re proud to serve Canada’s automotive, motorsport, and farm communities with gear that’s built to perform and built to last.
We also create and distribute licensed apparel for Snap-on franchisees, both in Canada and internationally, earning a reputation for design excellence and product longevity. Beyond our licensed collections, we proudly own and operate our own original brands, including Farmers Feed Families – apparel that honours the backbone of our rural communities.
At Choko, our apparel and accessory design is handled in-house where we apply our years of experience to produce the high performing products we are known for. This means we control every step of the process, ensuring top-tier quality and timely delivery. Our in-house team of designers, sales associates and warehouse staff work hard, play hard, and live the lifestyles we design for. That’s the Choko difference.
Whether it’s on the racetrack, on the farm, or at work, our mission is the same: to deliver gear that performs, inspires pride, and represents the people who wear it.
Still family-run and driven by Ed’s original “can-do” mindset, we’re more than just a company—we’re a crew. We innovate with passion, hustle with purpose, and build with pride. We are Choko Authentics.
